I’m SUPER excited to publish my own blogging website. Our journey through life is often littered with insurmountable obstacles. Constantly confronted, do we give up? Do we charge forward blindly simply hoping that “things will somehow work out”? Or, do we reach out for help from others that have successfully navigated the exact same pitfalls?
When I was in my twenties, I thought I knew it all and I would never ask for help. I call that guy “dumb-David”. Now that I’m in my fifties, I have a network of friends, family and mentors that act as my idea-filter and my idea-roadmap to success down whatever road I’ve ventured. More minds working on a problem or challenge = a greater chance of success. Pretty simple math.
Most people would call me a “Jack of All Trades”. I say that I’m easily bored and willing to try many opportunities. It’s only fair to list a few of my past and present passions and vocations.
I’m a pharmacist of 25 years although I seldom practice anymore. Pharmacy has changed so much in the past 10 years, it doesn’t bring me the joy and satisfaction it once did.
I’ve been a commodity futures trader off and on for many years. Add my recent interest in picking great stocks and I have almost the best job going. The only thing I find missing in my life is a meaningful way to give back. I want to help people be the best version of themselves.
That brings me to blogging. I love to read self-improvement blogs. My favorites are Ramit Sethi’s I Will Teach You to be Rich, Leon Ho’s Life Hack, and Steve Pavlina’s Steve Pavlina.
There are some great blogs out there, I encourage you to visit as many as you can. Look for my blog to attract many experts or guest posters as well as hosting many great blog responses from my loyal readers.
My beautiful wife Kelly and I along with our recently adopted five year old Cockapoo Cody call beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona home now after spending many years living on the east coast (VA, PA).
Thank you so very much for visiting my blog today. Please take the time and post your comments, thoughts and feelings. With your help, we can make this blog a meaningful place to visit, learn and articulate your thoughts and feelings.
